This pack is 4.5m of 345mm flue for an open fire, up to the underside of the capping. It is designed for the Isokern Magnum firechests (950, 1100 and 1200), chosen on this page. There is no stove support block or adaptor for this flue size.

The capping, chimney pot, top ring and raincap are not in the pack. Choose a capping for render or brickwork on this page, then either a 350mm chimney pot or the DM54 raincap and top ring.

Lip Glue quantity is worked out from the Schiedel joints-per-bag chart (DM54: 4 casing joints per bag).

The Isokern Double Module DM54 345mm i/d chimney pack contains the pumice blocks and fixings to build a 4.5 metre high DM54 chimney with a 345mm internal diameter flue. The Isokern DM54 system is a self-supporting pumice block chimney: each 545mm square casing (300mm high) holds a round 345mm flue block, and the casings and flue blocks are bonded with Isokern Lip Glue. A half-height starter flue block goes at the bottom so the flue and casing joints are staggered.

Not included: the chimney capping and the chimney termination. Choose your capping on this page: 130733 DM54 670mm Square Capping for Render, or 130734 DM54 Square Capping for Brickwork with 130735 DM54 Square Corbel. Then choose your termination as an option: a 350mm terracotta or buff chimney pot (129359 / 129358) or the DM54 Raincap & Top Ring. A chimney pot needs 38mm clearance to combustibles and is set into the capping and flaunched; a raincap and top ring on a straight rendered stack allows 0mm.

For a 4.5m flue this pack builds 15 courses: 15 casings (545mm square, each 300mm high) around 15 345mm flue blocks (15 x 300mm = 4.5m), plus the starter block and 7 bags of Lip Glue. It suits a DM54 chimney that needs 4.5m of 345mm flue above the firechest or stove connection you choose, up to the underside of the capping.
